Issues: Pressing play on Deck A results in the tape playing for about 3 seconds, then the transport stops. Also, the tape counter is not working. I found an internet post about a similar Yamaha with the same problems. The person stated that the counter belt had broken on his, and gunked up the deck transport. Remedy was to clean the transport. YAMAHA NATURAL SOUND STEREO DOUBLE CASSETTE DECK K-40 - TESTED - WORKS GREAT. Everything was tested and works perfectly fine. Overall I would say its in pretty good condition. The plastic layer on the top of the unit is peeling off.
