Welcome to my listing for my beautiful Japenese-made Yamaha KX-250 Cassette Deck. This is quite a rare unit and in excellent condition. The sound quality from this deck is absolutely spectacular on both playback and recording. I have fully cleaned the tape path, heads, capstans and rollers. I have also aligned the heads, so this is working at optimum performance, although there is also a play trim adjustment to compensate treble response for any azimuth errors. This is a feature packed deck and very controllable. The tape mechanism is extremely stable and the sound quality is very impressive indeed, right across the frequency spectrum. This deck is a fine example of Japanese engineering, beautifully constructed and laid out, with high end Rubycon capacitors. The build and performance of this deck is truly excellent and you wont be disappointed. Yamaha have a long and illustrious history of producing the highest quality of cassette decks and this one is no exception. Even the headphone jack sounds really good! There are a few marks on the top panel, but that in no way detracts from the overall presentation of this fine cassette deck. The tape counter isnt rotating either because the small rubber belt has perished. I highly recommend you combine this with the matching digital tuner I have available for sale. This comes with a cord to connect the two so you can use the remote to control both the tuner and the amplifier. I used this for a month plus with no issues. If he had a remote for this I am unable to find at this time but if I do find I will pass it along. Hows it sound? Using a Panasonic CD player and Canton speakers, and a variety of CDs and DVDs all I can say is WOW! This is a powerful receiver, built like a tank and heavy, mostly on the side where the amp is. Hopefully youll be WOWED, too! The FM sounds very nice, also. Welcome to my listing for my beautiful Yamaha KX-260 Cassette Deck. This is quite a rare unit and in excellent condition. The sound quality from this deck is particularly good on both playback and recording. I have fully cleaned the tape path, heads, capstans and rollers. I have also aligned the heads, so this is working at optimum performance, although there is also a play trim adjustment to compensate treble response for any azimuth errors. This is a feature packed deck and very controllable. The tape mechanism is very stable and the sound quality is very impressive indeed, right across the frequency spectrum. The only issue is that the tape counter isnt working because the small belt that operates it has perished but its an easy fix if youre bothered about that. This deck is a fine example of Japanese engineering, beautifully constructed and laid out, with high end Rubycon capacitors. The build and performance of this deck is truly excellent and you wont be disappointed. Yamaha have a long and illustrious history of producing the highest quality of cassette decks and this one is no exception. This pair of Yamaha NX-E300 compact speakers provide the natural, quality sound you would expect from an esteemed manufacturer of all kinds of musical instruments.
