Yamaha CD-S2000 Natural Sound Super Audio CD Player Black Color Beautiful Description A-S2000 (B) has a tight and sharp appearance with a matte black face, suitable for the increased number of black speakers in recent years. It has been in use until recently and is in good working condition. There are light scratches on the top panel, but there are no noticeable dirt or stains elsewhere. I personally own the silver-faced model of the same machine, which I also use to listen to music from my PC and LP. Compared to my Accuphase setup (plus a dedicated DAC board), I find that the YAMAHA A-S2000 has a natural and clean sound that is not overly polished. I have Sonus Faber, Tannoy, and DALI speakers (mid-range models), and I find that the YAMAHA A-S2000 suits my Japanese sensibilities focused on original sound reproduction. When paired with YAMAHAs CD-S2000, the sound is excellent, not only because it was a recommended combination at the time of release but also because I now use it as part of a network setup with DACs like iFI to achieve a more sophisticated sound quality. This might harken back to the characteristic sound of older high-end equipment. The A-S2000 belongs to a series that has been updated and become more expensive. However, considering its price of around 200,000 yen, which does not follow the current trend of inflated prices for high-end or mid-range devices, I personally feel that it still holds its ground in terms of quality compared to newer models. Here is a beautiful pair of Yamaha NS1000M speakers. Matched pair serial 24377. If you are looking for a nice pair of these speakers you can now stop because here they are! I have seen a lot of these speakers and I beleive this pair is about as nice as they come. Some minor marks and one top corner of the grills is torn a little as shown in the pictures but very nice.They sound amazing as you know but I like to leave the grills off because they are very cool to look at.
