It is compatible with infrared and has a wireless range of 5-10 meters approximately.The remote control is black in color and is not included with batteries. The connectivity is wireless and it is compatible with Yamaha brand. Tested for power , transmit button flashes red, lcd screen displays input source and lights up. Down arrow button has damage, the church button has damage as well. Besides that the remote is in very good condition.

Vintage Yamaha Natural Sound AV Receiver - RX-V2092 - We dont have an FM Antenna - so we powered it up and listened to some nice static (see video).The front door flap at the front bottom - isnt fully closing for us - we took one picture to show it slightly ajar. This was removed from a fairly large home system in working condition. We dont know this unit and theres a bazillion options and features. We dont have the remote for the system. The system is being sold as-is.
