Offering this serviced, cleaned and tested vintage Yamaha CR-800 stereo receiver. Repaired some thermal issues on the power and main amp boards. Primary service: Replaced fusible resistors, known problematic transistors and electrolytic caps on the power board; known problematic transistors and several electrolytic caps on the main amp board. Replaced electrolytic caps on other boards. Replaced lamps. Thoroughly cleaned all switches, pots, RCA connections. Tested all inputs and outputs. This unit sounds amazing. It features 45 watts per channel, two phono inputs, two tape input/outputs and aux input. Also has pre amp out and main in for connection of other components such as an equalizer or a powered subwoofer. The cabinet has a couple of light scratches and a ding on the corner, otherwise in great condition. Besonderheit des Gertes ist der doppelte Eingang fr Plattenspieler mit Magnet-System und der ebenfalls doppelte Ein- und Ausgang fr Tonbandmaschinen oder Kassettenrekorder. Ein weiterer Hochpegeleingang rundet das ganze ab. Der eingebaute Radioempfang ist fr FM und AM ausgelegt. Neben den Ausgngen fr zwei Lautsprecherpaare bietet das Gert auch eine Trennbare Vor- Endverstrker Einheit. Zudem hatte Yamaha zu der Zeit auch einen einstellbaren Loudnesseffekt. Many thanks :) Here we have a Yamaha CR-800 Vintage stereo receiver.It works fine and sounds great, but it does have a slight low level hiss on the left channel, this did go away while testing, so it may be a switch.. it did come back again, may well be a switch, although we have switch cleaned all pots ad switches. It does have some age/use related marks here and there, but is dtill presentable and looks great.and the arial on the back has broken, but could be re-joined. still usable as it is, as the hiss is very minor. Sold as is, with no returns, priced accordingly. Please inspect the pictures (please also use the zoom function on the photos) and be sure of what you are buying, please don’t buy this if you are at all unsure, I will answer any questions you have, just email BEFORE PURCHASING.
