Yamaha C-70 Stereo control Amplifier Preamp - high-end sound with direct phono. Ive had this unit for 25 years and Im selling this now with a few other components since my housing situation has changed and I have less space available. This Yamaha C-70 preamp has awesome sound, and all controls and lights work as expected, including the parametric tone controls, the MM/MC direct phono stage, and all inputs and outputs. This unit works well. I did notice that you do get some light scratchiness sometimes when adjusting the volume, but I think its minimal and it does not affect playback when you arent moving the volume control. There is a major cosmetic scratch on the top panel, and a few other chips/blemishes. See the picture of the top of the unit. This is cosmetic only - if you have this in a cabinet or a rack, you may not even see it when in use (depends on your setup of course).
