Shipped in original box / packaging. One thing to note - once the amplifier warms up it produces a slight hum at the unit - not through the speakers - audio clarity at the speaker is unaffected. Also I am including a Bluetooth Adapter with the unit. It is the Esinkin adapter that is on Amazon currently at around $24. It can remain attached or detached to give the amp BT capabilities. This amp doesnt have digital inputs which is great for those who want to use a better modern outboard DAC than the one like the A-S501 Yamaha offers. You dont have to pay extra for a DAC and you can update an external DAC as features and prices improve later if you wish. The A-S500 also has a PHONO INPUT which is not common on all amps currently.
