Der gut erhaltene, natürlich voll funktionsfähige, wenig genutzte Stereoverstärker höchster Qualität befindet sich seit dem Kauf 2010 in meinem Privatbesitz. (Betrieben wurde/wird er an MAGNAT Quantum 709 Lautsprechern, die in einem parallelen Angebot erworben werden können) Aus meiner Sicht besondere Features sind: Sehr guter Klang, hohe Leistung, sehr guter Phono-Eingang (MC oder MM), separater Kopfhörerverstärker und optionales Bi-Wiring beim Lautsprecheranschluss. Eines der Seitenpaneele (links) aus Mahagoni hat eine kleine Macke (vergl. Foto). Das sagt Yamaha über den A-S1000: Stereo-Wiedergabe in bester HiFi-Qualität ist der Auftrag des Yamaha A-S1000. Dafür war die aufwendigste Konstruktion den Yamaha-Ingenieuren gerade gut genug: Der gesamte Signalweg ist vollsymmetrisch ausgelegt, Lautstärke und Kanalregler arbeiten dreifach parallel und die Endstufe wird von vier Hochleistungs-Netzteilen gespeist.
