Up for sale is a never used XTZ Edge A3-200. I pulled it out of the box and power it up to verify it worked. The project I had planned for it never came to be. The A2-300 is a European designed 2-channel amplifier built around the Hybrid feedback Controlled Oscillation Modulator (HCOM) ICEpower® class D power amplifier modules. Power is rated at 100 W/ch into 8 ohms, and double that into 4 ohms. Peak power into 4 ohms is 300 W/ch. Some nice features to considerAdjustable gainStereo or bi-amp operation via a switch on the back (note: the switch does not enable bridged mode, it feeds the same input to both channels for bi-amplification of speakers supporting this connection topology)User selectable always on or auto on (input sense) modeA good use case for this amplifier is to add to an audio-video receiver with left/right pre-amp outputs. In my case, a man turned up at the door demanding customs payment before delivery. I paid it online; after numerous calls. They were delivered. These is an excellent Class D amplifier, see numerous reviews online. Note that its power supply is rated to approximately 500kVA, so its simultaneous output to both channels is not 300W (at 4 Ohms) that is maximum into one channel. Particular USPs: - Extremely low idle power consumption for its output, 6.7W. - Very high damping factor. - Mono switch, enables it to be used for bi-amping. - Small size and runs cool; so can be easily hidden. Note that its power supply is rated to approximately 500kVA, so its simultaneous output to both channels is not 300W (at 4 Ohms) that is maximum into one channel. Particular USPs: - Extremely low idle power consumption for its output, 6.7W. - Very high damping factor. - Mono switch, enables it to be used for bi-amping. - Small size and runs cool; so can be easily hidden. Purchased in March 2023, supplied with a copy of the receipt which enables XTZ warranty for two years until March 2025. This has been confirmed with the Customer Support team at XTZ but feel free to confirm with them yourself before bidding (they respond quite quickly).
