I bought this CD player new. Over the years it has had more and more trouble recognizing CDs. Now it only rarely recognizes a CD when you put one in. When it does recognize the CD it plays it perfectly. This is still a great sounding CD player. The problem is clearly in the laser mechanism. There are replacements available on eBay and elsewhere for $25-50. If you can do the work, or have someone who can do it youll have a great CD player for much less than its worth. If you have a beat up player, you can swap mechanisms and have a great condition player. The condition is near new, without scratches or other defects. Everything that came with it new is included, remote, power cord, instructions, box, and packing materials.

Tube Amp/XRAY Parts coolidge type x-ray tube Bell Topper. Honestly I have no idea what these are. I found these in a box from an estate sale. The box says X-RAY TUBE BELL. From the searching I did I only found 1 photo of what it might be (included in the photos as an example). Im sure they can be used for tube amp applications as maybe a heatsink or something? They are a heavy metal 85g each. They look like aluminum, but the weight tells me not. Maybe use for a static electricity project, Jacobs ladder? who knows. This guy was very eccentric and a former NASA engineer so no clue of where they came from. These maybe worth hundreds/thousands of dollars each?? and be just the right part for that history or museum project completion.
