I bought this amp non-working and replaced some components to bring it back to full working order. This K5881 Mk2 was built as a kit supplied by World Designs. I had the valves checked and all were within spec. Its a simple 2 x RCA socket input and two pairs of speaker binding posts and on/off switch. It has no volume control so youll need a preamp or DAC/ or other source with a volume control. This is wonderfully sweet-sounding valve amp delivering around 20 Watts per channel. Ive just connected it up to check it and was very impressed with its sound. I can post it and will individually label each valve and valve location so re-fitting the valves should be very simple. I will pack it extremely carefully and use an insured courier. It is extremely heavy so postage isnt cheap. Collection from Taunton is also fine. If you have any questions please drop me a message.
