Up for sale is one of my favorite headphone amplifiers. The Woo Audio WA22 balanced tube headphone amplifier - 2nd generation.I recently acquired the black version to better match my components so I am now selling the silver version.The amplifier has been upgraded with Mundorf EVO Silver Gold Oil capacitors which provide better overall tone with more clarity and top end sparkle. Original Vishay capacitors are included. The Mundorf are rated 450V while the stock caps are only 250V so expect this upgrade to equal or better the original components. The stock values of 0.47uF were maintained.I have installed all new tubes which are NOS GE 6080WA power tubes, Tung-Sol 6SN7 matched preamp tubes, and Sovtek 5AR4 balanced rectifier which provides soft start and a little firmer response from the amplifier. A 5U4G rectifier tube can be substituted if you prefer. Includes original box.
