Listing is for a pair of vintage British-made Wharfedale Programme 20 bookshelf speakers. Nominal Impedance: 8 ohm Optimum Amplifier Power: 20WPower Handling (Programme): 60WSensitivity (1W @ 1M): 89dB Directivity: CardioidDriver Units: Base 170mm cone, Treble 19mm dome (protected)Enclosure Type: Rear Port Base Reflection This pair was used in the den of my house the entire time until I put them away after our last move in 2015. Driven by my Audiolab 8000A integrated and they sang beautifully! Typical sweet and warm British sound. All drivers are in perfect working order and are in excellent condition. Please note that this speaker is not bi-wire capable. The extra set of connectors is for connecting additional speakers in parallel or series or a combination of parallel/series (see last photo). I only used them as normal two-ways but just to let you know their flexibility. The overall condition of the speakers is excellent with the exception of a small damage on the rear bottom corner on one of the speakers (see close-up). I didnt bother repairing it as it didnt affect the sound plus it was not really visible when viewed from the front. The grilles are in great shape with no damages and the pegs are all intact. IMPORTANT: Being a vintage audio equipment item is SOLD AS IS. There is no warranty implied or return accepted I repeat no warranty implied or return accepted. Wharfedale Programme 30D.6 Speakers. Very good sounding speakers, they have a very punchy bass, everything works perfectly, no flaws on the drivers, however there are some rips on the grills on top as you can see in the pictures. There is some very slight peeling on the edges in the back and underneath on the outside coating of the wood but nothing very noticeable. All round these are some good looking speakers and they are worth the money.
