The Linton 2 is a 2-way bookshelf loudspeaker system manufactured by the Wharfedale Corporation in approximately 1971. It was a 20-watt (DIN) speaker system with 8-inch bass and 2-inch tweeter together with an electronic crossover circuit. An outstanding design feature of this unit was that the bass speaker had an extra long magnet resulting in significantly better frequency response. These speakers purchased in 1975 are 1 owner from new (however used by different family members in later years). There are some minor scratches and dints but the overall condition is very good considering their age, please see photos. The speakers are in perfect working order but not to say they would not be improved with new crossovers. Specs: (as quoted in 1975) Sensitivity is 85dB/1w/1m, with maximum power input of 30W RMS and a nominal impedance of 6 ohms. Frequency response 60Hz to 20kHz at -3dB.
