Thanks. Now for the interesting bit. If youre into vintage Hi-fi, then these are not to be missed! You are looking at a very nice pair of Teak Linton 2s by the world famous Wharfedale stable. The Linton 2 is a 2-way bookshelf loudspeaker system manufactured by the Wharfedale Corporation in approximately 1971. It was a 20-watt (DIN) speaker system with 8-inch bass and 2-inch tweeter together with an electronic crossover circuit. An outstanding design feature of this unit was that the bass speaker had an extra long magnet resulting in significantly better frequency response. They sound wonderfully warm and tight and are in perfect working condition. The dust covers are perfect with all lugs in tact. No tears or rips. A pair of Wharfedale Linton 2 vintage speakers in very good condition for age. The speakers have been tested and are fully functional complete with stands with castors. Only the slightest of wear marks visible on cases as can be seen in photos. Speaker dimensions H 48.5 cm W 25.5 cm D 24 cm weight 3.8Kg Stands H 23.5 cm weight 1.63 Kg. All measurements approx. 2 x Wharfedale Linton 3XP Speakers.

This is a pair of Wharfedale Linton 2 (Super Linton) speakers in teak. They have been owned by the seller since 1971 and are fully working and in an excellent cosmetic state. The seller purchased them when he was 19 years old as a part of his first true hifi system and they have given excellent service over the years. Now being parted with (sadly) as owner is downsizing. They sound great - please listen to the video attached.
