These were a custom build project I started a few months back. I bought these on eBay for a little over $700. I have over $ 850 invested so far. One is ready for primer. The other has 3 coats of paint but needs to be sanded and repainted. I puddied over the original Wharfedale badge space. I routered the top edge and front edges. The two wood pieces were to be either attached to bottom of the speaker or used as a base for custom stands . Two pieces are the same size as the speakers and are 7/8 thick. Solid cherry wood sanded and routered . The original cloth grills attach to the woofers are like new. I had to move to an apartment and have no place to finish them. I did try to spray one of them here at the apartment at the back of one of the storage buildings but it didnt turn out good. Damn rattle spray cans suck! I give up on this project. The aluminum speaker housing for the tweeter and midrange need a light sanding and a another shot of clear coat. All drivers are like new. The speakers were reassembled with all parts just like from the factory. With all the sound deadening material inside. The speaker connectors are push on not soldered. The woofers measure 7 1/4 overall. The speakers are ready to play as they are . With the original plastic bags and cloth protective bags. They would be great for some garage speakers the way they are or you could custom paint them. Jade 3 are acoustic suspension speakers. These will be expensive to ship. Shipping will be from $100 to $235 depending on location. But Im willing to sell them for just the price of shipping and handling. Im starting the bidding out for $125. I assembled and tested them. They sound awesome. See
