This is a sale of two diy Wharfdale Dovedale look alikes but with no cases and just the baffles supplied but if the plywood cases are required then ask because it just puts the courier charge up a bit. They were built from a kit of parts I think from Wilmslow audio and have the chassis speakers from the Dovedale range.The 12 bass is model 3010 but I have no numbers from the other speakers. I am selling the front baffles only with the speakers mounted and each will have the crossover and mid range tube which will be separated for the purposes of sending. If you collect then you can have the cases as well ofcourse. I bought as an experiment and was going to make a bigger case for the components but never did. The sound from these boxes is very disappointing to my ears with the bass being heavy and yet boxy at the same time and I think a port at the rear might improve in a bigger box. I have been using the speakers for a couple of hours and they work but one mid range seemed to be distorting and after some gentle cone pushing it now seems ok. These speakers come alive at 20 watts each otherwise they are lacklustre. Any questions?
