Still selling off tubes amassed from the years of working on old radios and tube equipment. I sold one of these a couple of weeks ago and this is my last one. This is a nice rare tube that is in super clean shape. There are no markings on the base - unfortunately they are worn off but it is definitely a Western Electric VT-2 or 205D tube, also known as a tennis ball tube with the glass blown tip and a glass support inside. The tube is in really nice shape, no breaks at all. Unfortunately I do not have a way to test this tube. Its a different base than say an 01A and I dont want to risk damaging it. However I have tested the filament for continuity and it is still good. I know people collect these even only for display but there is a good chance that this is still functional but I am selling as UNTESTED. The only thing I can guarantee is the filament is good. I will ship anywhere in the world, local pickup is always free. If you have any questions, please dont hesitate to ask. A Western Electric VT-1 tube that also cross references to a 203A or 203B tube. The collar on this tube is worn smooth so I cant see anything but I know what the tube is. Unfortunately I do not have a way to test the tube, best I can do is test filament continuity and this one is good. Super clean. Nothing is loose, etc. Blown tip.
