As you can see the glass has some darkening, but the tube is intact. The glass arbor and elements inside are good, the base and pins are also good. It tested at 50 with 37 being the minimum allowable on my TV7 tube tester. We test all our tubes on a calibrated TV-7U or Sencore tube testers. Still selling off tubes amassed from the years of working on old radios and tube equipment. I sold one of these a couple of weeks ago and this is my last one. This is a nice rare tube that is in super clean shape. There are no markings on the base - unfortunately they are worn off but it is definitely a Western Electric VT-2 or 205D tube, also known as a tennis ball tube with the glass blown tip and a glass support inside. The tube is in really nice shape, no breaks at all. Unfortunately I do not have a way to test this tube. Its a different base than say an 01A and I dont want to risk damaging it. However I have tested the filament for continuity and it is still good. I know people collect these even only for display but there is a good chance that this is still functional but I am selling as UNTESTED. The only thing I can guarantee is the filament is good.
