The lid is still attached and works as it should, but has this noted defect. We pointed it out in the photos with a blue square around the damage. Has scratches/scuffs from age/use, but despite the damage to the lid is in good condition. Most of the scratches consist of micro swirl marks/scratches that are more pronounced in certain angles of light. However, condition is subject to your interpretation and judgement. This is a fully working in good condition walkman with its original matching Sony headphones MDR010 in a plain packing. See photos for detail cosmetic condition. It has obviously not been used very much and is in full working order.No volume crackles etc, no play, rewind, forward, autostop or other issues.The 2 drive belts have just been changed for NEW as the originals would not have lasted too much longer.Sometime in the past, there has been a slight battery leak at the top end contacts which resulted in slight corrosion. This was easily cleaned off - see pictures. Comes as shown in the pictures with no headphones.It operates from 4 AA batteries and I will install 4 new ones.
