Wadia digital pre amp issue I can’t get it to pass a digital signal 321 decoding computer D to A with remote power cord and original box along with the owners manual. I cannot get it to pass the signal. There’s a 30% chance that there’s a problem with my testing equipment or that I just forgot how to test this thing but everything looks great on it. This WADIA DAC is fully operational and has been in use (it is being sold due to the purchase of a different DAC). There are some scratches on the upper left corner of the front panel, and tape residue can be seen on the upper right center of the front; please check the images for verification. The digital inputs (confirmed operational) include CH1, CH2/BNC, CH3/Optical, and CH4/WADIA ST link. It operates at a frequency of 44.1K, using CD discs only (no other operating environment is available). The analog outputs consist of one RCA (confirmed operational) and one XLR (operational status unknown, as there is no available working environment). The approximate dimensions of the body are 43(W) x 41(D) x 9(H) cm, and it weighs around 12 kg. As noted on blogs regarding the early models of WADIA, the unit does generate heat, so it is advisable to set up an appropriate operating environment (there are heat dissipation slits at the back of the top panel as shown in the images). This LP12 would be made in the mid 1990s (?) and I bought it as Very nice and clean condition around 2003. *An original Remote Control didnt work any more, so I bought a new one made by third party in Japan (about $100). Condition: Cosmetically its very clean in black color. There are many TINY scratches, but I found NO bad damages. it was taken maintenance by a local pro shop in LA last June. (I paid about $100 only) But Let me sell it as is. because it is mostly 30 years old (not new). Please understand this point! Shipping: CD player=35 pound! Pretty heavy!
