Wadia digital pre amp with issues OK here we go. This unit was damaged in shipping. It broke the top glass. I replaced it. I can’t get the LED to work on the top of the unit. I cannot get the unit to pass a signal. I do have a picture of where the aluminum was dented. Dieser WADIA 830 ist zweifellos einer der best klingenste CD-Spieler, den ich kenne (und ich bin seit über 40 Jahren Hifi-Fan). Der Klang ist sehr audiophil, luftig und räumlich (im Test heißt es: Raum, Ruhe und Ausdruck). Die einfachste Beschreibung ist, dass der WADIA 830 wie ein teurer Plattenspieler aufspielt, sehr analog. Die CD wird umgedreht gespielt und liegt dadurch optimal am oberen Laser an. Ein echtes High End Referenzgerät. Der WADIA ist schon ein paar Jahre gespielt und die Bedienelemente am CD-Player direkt funktionieren nicht richtig und sehen nicht mehr neu aus. Das hat mich nie gestört, da die Fernbedienung einwandfrei funktioniert und ich immer damit bedient habe. Oktober 2021 wurde bei AUDIO REFFERENCE in Hamburg ein neuer Laser eingebaut und Alles wurde mal durchgecheckt. Der WADIA 830 hat einen eigenen, geregelten Vorverstärkerausgang und kann direkt an eine Endstufe angeschlossen werden. Ein gutes Netzkabel, original FB, Manual und eine STEREOPLAY mit original Vergleichstest: WADIA 830 vs. Mark Levinson No 39 (wurden gleich gut beurteilt!) sind dabei, siehe Fotos. Kann bei Abholung hier (kurz vor Hamburg) sehr gerne vorgeführt werden
