This item was tested with a CD player and also with the tuner. Everything seems to work well. I do not have the equipment to test everything. The remote had decayed batteries. I cleaned it out but didn’t get it to work with the receiver. Hopefully someone with more ability and know how can get it to work. As is. Thanks

This is a powerful Pioneer VSX-9500S Enhanced Dolby Surround Audio/Video Stereo Receiver which is being sold for parts. The unit powers on (see pictures) however there is no sound. The remote control is not included. On visual inspection of the interior there are no obvious missing components or damage, and it is reasonably clean. The cabinet and controls are clean with the exception of there are some mars on the top surface and otherwise some scratches and mars consistent with the age. See photos for exterior condition. The receiver, made in Japan, is known for its powerful sound at 120 watts per channel. Shipping to the Continental US only, no FPO/APO, US Protectorates or PO Boxes.

Powers on and both Left and Right speaker outputs work fine but not getting anything out of the Center and Rear speaker outputs. Only tested the Video input and tuner but both inputs work! Likely needs a few new capacitors to get it full operational! Beautiful unit! Looks amazing cosmetically! Note: no returns accepted to avoid part stealing. Buying “as is” and for “parts/repair”. In the video test demonstration, the phono stage input is tested with a turntable. Fantastic sounding unit, in good working condition with plenty of power. All functions tested are working. All speaker channels work. All LEDs and display lights on light up, and the unit responds to button presses. I have tested most of the audio inputs, including the phono stage, rear amp, center amp, and all are functional. I have not tested the video inputs and a handful of the video/audio inputs (there are many!) due to time constraints and lack of appropriate TV. The receiver is unfortunately missing its four feet! A plastic joint behind the faceplate was damaged. Contact cement was used to fuse the joint, and it holds well -- this can be seen in the image with the yellow, highlighted arrow and circle. The receiver has general cosmetic flaws throughout, as can be seen in the images. Approximate measurements:16.5 x 16 x 5 I will ship with either FedEx Home Delivery, UPS Ground, USPS Ground Advantage depending on where Im shipping to.
