PIONEER DVR-7000 Elite Reference DVD Recorder Top of the line DVD recorder from the early 2000s. Lightly used and stored in a cool, dry environment since 2005. Records on single layer DVD-Rs or DVD-RWs via composite or S-Video inputs. Other connectivity options include component out, DV in/out and digital audio optical and coax out. It has always worked flawlessly and I have tested all functions before listing. Purchased in 2003 as a Pioneer factory refurb; it will ship in the original generic Pioneer Reconditioned Product box. Remote, power cord and original manual are included. There are a few light marks on the top of the unit (most notably visible in photo 2 to the left of the screw on the right), otherwise very nice cosmetically. (What looks like a smudge on the front panel display is just a reflection due to my inept photography skills). Im happy to answer any questions.

This is truly a fantastic receiver. A Rolls-Royce in a vast sea of buicks. All the bells and whistles. But seriously, the AVR 7000 was, at one point, the flagship receiver for Harman Kardon, a powerhouse in the home audio equipment scene. This is an outstanding example of the AVR 7000 to boot, it looks like it just rolled off the production line. The front Bezel is in amazing condition. The only flaw I can find is a single scratch on one of the sides (see finger for size comparison). It is quite a large unit as well, measuring 18 x 8 x 21 and weighing a massive 50 pounds! Most of the weight can be attributed to the massive transformer, a major reason this unit has such high quality sound output. The last 3 photos are from a test report from when it was just released and was published in sound and vision magazine. These photos contain some facts and specs about this unit.
