Hello. Cleaning out equipment I no longer use. Have three too many turntables and cannot listen to all of them,hence the sale.This turntable is one of my favorite for its elegance,ease of set up and sonic characteristics. I just recently upgraded to Scout but must admit that I really like Traveler tonearm over Scouts one. It is really easier to set up and it has VTA adjustment on the fly.The turntable is in gorgeous Red and black, has sturdy adjustable feet and will come with a bunch of extras. It will come with original slip mat (the grey one on the pictures) but I really didnt like it because it is sticky and, if you like me use damping weight, you record will stick to the mat. Therefore, I used it with an extra mat. BTW, it is not recommended to stop your turntable when you flip your record, just grab the vinyl and flip or change it,nothing will happen to the motor or belt(trust me on this one).Even though,this turntable is considered an entry level in VPI catalog,it is true audiophile turntable, suitable for both,the beginners and seasoned audiophiles, and will outperform more expensive offerings from other brands,like Pro-Ject and Music Hall (had done real comparison).This turntable will come with following:An original slip mat, two belts(both used but working just fine),and if you need a new belt you can easily find one right here on eBay. Please,remember to use gloves when handling rubber belts, your skin oils will deteriorate rubber. Original power supply.Extras: bright Red felt mat (I used it on top of original mat); Ortofon 2M Red cartridge with brand new 2M Red stylus (really used less then an hour when I set it up and was testing),so it is brand new and not even broken in; very simple but great Rolls VP29 MM phono preamp in red color(I like the aesthetics of two of them together,but you can use your own pre) with original power supply; excellent audiophile quality 1m long phono cable to connect TT to the pre, with ground wire; lightly used and in great cosmetic condition Audio Technica AT-618a dumping weight (586 gm); and custom made specifically for this turntable clear heavy Acrylic turntable cover made by JnB(it is in great condition with only minor marks from use).The whole package is a turn key set up,so you can start right away, just connect Rolls pre to your preamp or integrated and you are ready to RocknRoll. Turntable works great and holds speed well. It is capable of both, 331/3 and 45 RPM, just slide the belt on the spindle. The motor makes a slight noise when first starts up,which disappears in a few minutes when motor warms up.
