?ª˜¨¨?ª˜¨¨¨¨˜ª¤.¸*•.¸*•¸? ? Super eBayer ??¸•*¸.•*´¸.¤ª˜¨¨¨¨˜ª?¨¨˜ª? I do provide excellent service to every buyer. Please see my feedback before you bid, and see that everyone is happy with my prices, my product .... and my service. Good Day! I must apologize for changing this auction to local pickup only. I am doing this primarily due to one jerk. So, I am NOT shipping this. Id rather sell it really cheap to someone nice thats local, and they can see it for themselves, and not play games like swapping parts. I just dropped the price to a honey, lets go for a drive price. This was NOT my personal item. I did not use it, test it, or know any more about it than I have pictured or told by VPI or other VPI table owners. You are bidding on what you see pictured/ I wish for the buyer to see for himself that received what is pictured, and the condition it is in, is as described. I cannot offer any more information than that. All buyers please bid accordingly, if interested. I have done my very best to present this item honestly and accurately. This IS for local pick-up only in Locust Grove, VA 22508. Next, no nonsense please. Im too old. Getting older is problem enough for me. My understanding is that this is one of the most sought after and rare ever sold by VPI. Please read the following: I bought out an entire recording studio, lock stock and barrel for a tidy sum. Among the items was this table. Comes with manuals and vintage warranty registrations. I also contacted Jim at VPI, and here is what he told me. Its definitely an Aries 1 model, circa approximately 1994-1995. The arm is indeed a 10-inch (you only measure the armtube) JMW metal unipivot arm. A very solid, substantial table in its day, and lots of them still running from ~30 years ago. And, I received this from a fellow trader kind enough to share his knowledge. One thing VPI didnt tell you about your particular Aries 1 is that in place of the stock platter that came with the table, yours has the platter from the VPI TNT 5.The Aries had a real good platter: 1.25; thick, comprised of a 7/8 thick bottom section made of aluminum (onto which was bonded a thin sheet of lead, covered in cork), with a 3/8 thick top layer of Delrin. The same platter came on the TNT 3 and 4.The TNT 5 has a great one: 1.5; thick, the bottom section 5/8 thick stainless steel (no lead sheet), with a 7/8 thick top Delrin layer. Thats the platter you have, and its the one most VPI aficionados consider the best platter VPI has ever made. Congratulations, it (and the Aries table) is a beauty! There is full inspection available to the buyer, but no returns for any reason, once it meets with your approval. Must be picked up with 3 days, local pickup. I will make myself available within that timeframe. No exceptions. No offers outside of ebay please. Thanks in advance. Enjoy the music. Dance while you can, and every time you can. Please see my other GREAT items up for sale on ebay!!!
