History:The VPI Nomad V1 was our first attempt to hit an entry level all in one turntable that would be easy to use and a potential first table for new listeners. However, there was no upgrade path established for the Nomad mainly because we didnt think anyone would upgrade the table. Rather, the assumptions was a customer would sell off or pass on their Nomad V1 and purchase a higher level VPI when they were ready. After some unique DIY experiences and some learning on our own part we eventually transitioned this product in to the V2. Here is a nice affordable AudioShield acrylic turntable dust cover made for the following VPI audiophile grade turntables: NOMAD, PLAYER, SCOUT. and SCOUT JR. The dustcover sits on top of the turntable platter spindle (hole) and is made to remove when playing actual records. You cannot play a record with the dustcover in place. The dimensions are: 19 L x 14 W x 4 H at tone arm side. The condition is excellent with no visible scratches and comes with original box, packing, invoice, and literature. This is a nice dustcover for those that cant afford the esoteric brands.

VPI Nomad Turntable. This is the top of the line Nomad. 110v with a built in phono/headphone amp. The phono amp is currently disabled via 4 access screws and 2 jumpers .Unit is in excellent condition. Upgraded VPI aluminum feet. and tonearm wire. The lift mech. cleaned, new silicone added and adjusted. Platter and tonearm bearings cleaned and oiled. No cartridge included. I have a Denon DL-103 retipped for additional cost.
