This can be rebuilt or applied in a trade toward the even better Virtuoso V2 cartridge ($1200) which is probably the best performing moving-magnet cartridge Ive heard (the high-dollar Soundsmith and Grado cartridges are in fact moving-iron, not moving magnet). I believe the trade-in value of this item is 20% or $240 from Clearaudio. Retippers typically charge around $300 to rebuild a cartridge like this.
