It uses a combination of tube and solid state technology to provide a great sounding amp that is rated at 150 watts per channel into an 8 ohm load (most speakers), but can also generate 300 watts per channel for 4 ohm speakers. The large transformer generates the power to drive most speakers to an absurd sound level. It is a terrific-sounding hybrid design (2 x 6N16 tube stage driving solid-state output devices) that successfully marries the best of both tube and transistor designs. This amp is capable of 150WPC into 8?, and 300WPC into 4?. The inputs are gold-plated RCAs, and the outputs consist of two pairs of banana / spade / wire combo posts that are switchable on the front panel (A group and B group). The amp has a built-in soft startup feature. It is very well built and packs some serious heft. This particular unit was purchased new and has had a single owner. It has been tested and is fully operational. The one you see in the pictures is the exact one youll receive. I do not have the original box or manual, but the amp will be carefully packed and double-boxed.
