The low-frequency magnets, especially the pole piece material, are annealed (special heat) at a high temperature of nearly 700°C and cooled over a long period of time. The low-frequency magnets are made of iron material that has undergone annealing (special heat treatment) to bring out the best characteristics of the Alnico magnet.
