Platine Verdier LP Turntable Auditorium 23 Legendary, rare and sublime sounding Verdier Platine LP turntable, this is the improved Auditorium 23 —manufactured in Germany— version that is no longer available. This is one of the great sounding turntables. It presents a deep wide soundstage, rich tone, strong dynamics, air, space and clarity of information. Used in fine systems; note the final posted image, from “Pinterest”, used to advertise Audiophile Systems ! Supplied with Verdier motor drive, (x1) bronze armboard drilled for SME, Tri-Planar and Acoustical Systems arms, and timber armboard base, pictured, together with originally supplied (x2) armboards (x1 drilled for SME arm) and armboard base. Two of the three original feet are still wrapped with Verdiers protective packing paper. I am the second owner. Excellent condition. Only the original turntable and motor drive is for sale, (not the tonearm appearing in the photographs). Ceramic ball from the manufacturer, roll of fine nylon thread, glass jar of Verdier bearing oil, and original Auditorium 23 black turntable mat are included. Part of the original packing box will be included but the whole player, if shipped, would be provided with new packaging to protect from shipping damage. Note: one approx. 5mm diameter drill hole has been made through the terrazzo base at the rear behind the platter support magnets, normally unseen. Purchaser will receive sprung feet with latest technology new silicone rubber seals replacing original rubberised foam type material.
