This listing is for a SINGLE BIC Venturi V52 bookshelf speaker, color is black. It has been tested to be in good working condition prior to being listed. It measures approx. 12h x 7.5d x 7w. Grille cloth has a few small white marks, and a few minor snags which are mostly on the top/btm edges. Tweeter mounting plate and rear terminal plate have areas with cracks in the corners near the screws. Vinyl laminate has a few minor dings along the edges. None of these issues are visible from a normal listening distance. Please see my close-up photos for exact condition. You will receive exactly what you see in my photos. Offered for your consideration is one (1) B?I?C Venturi model 310105 5¼ inch mid/bass woofer that was original equipment in my B?I?C Venturi V52 speakers, manufactured c.1992. This magnetically shielded mid/bass driver was likely used in other B?I?C speakers from this era, but buyer is responsible for verifying its suitability for any other model.So, please take a look at my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this capable B?I?C mid/bass driver is correct for your needs. This B?I?C woofer is in clean, excellent condition. The poly-coated paper cone is flawless and so is the voice coil dustcap. Plus, the black-anodized steel basket is in great shape with no dings or scratches and the magnet “bell” is in great shape as well. Also, the surround is permanent rubber instead of the fragile foam still used by many other brands in the 1990’s. And, the +/- terminals are marked for polarity and have never been soldered on the spades. Overall, this mid/bass woofer is very well-preserved. Most importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds perfect—strong, clear output with fast, detailed midrange and good bass output for the platform size. And, DC resistance tested at 4.5?, consistent with a 6 ohm nominal driver rating. Lastly, the basket measures 5 3/16” across (5¾” at the corners), it stands roughly 3” tall, and the mounting holes are spaced 3¾” adjacent / 5¼” diagonal apart, c-t-c.This is a nice find for someone that has a blown or damaged woofer in their V52 or other suitable B?I?C model—your speakers will be sounding their best again!As pictured and described, this B?I?C Venturi 5¼” woofer is offered at a competitive price.
