This amplifier has been completely rebuilt with only the following original items :- Metal casePCB x4Power supply transformerOutput transformers x2Original build documentation. All other components have been replaced with far higher specification devices these include :- Nichicon, Panasonic,Nippon electric, Wima capacitors, Electrolytics are low ESR, high temperature types. Screw down inter PCB connectors. High temperature, high voltage rated silicon wire used for power distribution and high quality screened and unscreened OFC cable used for signal path. The following user and operational modification have been fitted :- A/ Two stage relay [dry contact] soft start system with adjustable delays from 1s to 180s.B/ Dual mode Individual valve grid voltage meters which provide the following indication :- Grid voltage adjust level when quiescent valve setup is being carried out. Modulated output level when in normal use.C/ Multimode power/Current meter using a induction coil to show various electrical values and a resettable timer valve service time. The power meter image shows the total hours on test after overhaul. The valves can be supplied or buyer specified types fitted and calibrated before dispatch at an additional cost of the valves. The amplifier sounds wonderful with all the usual valve sound benefits together with a very respectable power output to drive most speaker loads with ease. Velleman K4000 200WATT Valve Amplifier + Pre-amp And Remote.soft start so to protect the valves This sounds beautiful i have had just over 2 years and enjoyed this comes with manuals and its pre-amplifier plenty of inputs .very heavy over 20kg just for the power amplifier .this has 2xECCC83 and 8x EL34 valves (tesla )up to 15 watts class A then 100Watts class A/B per channel . will have to be picked up will not risk posting plus its alll set up for you to listen i have records, tapes ,mini disc , CD and MP3 so plenty to enjoy .
