NOW for those of you who watch - those issues with the mains button of the amp and scale-glass and scale indicator are now FIXED. Pictures are updated. I took this as a trade in for something completely different so checked this set only briefly and this is what I found out: AMPLIFIER 6000:- sounds clean and strong on both channels ( Ive checked only stereo out main channels - middle set of outputs at the back)- the push-button (cover) of the mains on/off switch was swapped with the one from the tuner, the switch is working flawless. - every regulation is working, including meters, lights, I opened the amp I think it is original?? but you guys interested know better ;-) TUNER 6000:- working correct including meters, sounds nice, selective, tunes in to frequency, lights working (I dont know if all of them?) - the scale indicator is working OK - FIXED - the scale glass is in place FIXED - there are dents on edges of the faceplate and left top corner is torn - check pictures- mains button cover now is on the amplifier and missing here on the tuner. Despite this amp and tuner are working I am selling this set exclusively as defectie/for restoration/parts and buy buying it you acknowledge that I do not guarantee that it will work as described for any defined period of time. For sale is Universum System HIFI 6600 CT deck. I took this as a trade in for something completely different so checked this set only briefly and this is what I found out: DECK 6600- needs TLS - it starts playing (too slow) and stops, rewinding works but also stops after a while. Pushing buttons again - starts playing again and stops and over again. Holding down the play button for a longer time - makes the unit speed up playback (sounds more like a tune not like a slooooow turtle), and level indicators go live, so I think it needs regulation or service check, tape head is probably ok but it is my guess - the output cable is not original DIN5 but was reworked by someone to 3,5mm stereo mini jack socket - I was able to hear some sounds through it using the only cassette that Ive got through headphones using this socket. Despite this deck powers on and shows some life in it I am selling it exclusively as defective/for restoration/parts and buy buying it you acknowledge that I do not guarantee that it will work as described for any defined period of time.
