Ich habe das Gerät selber in 2022 über ebay gekauft, da ich Tonbänder aus dem Nachlass meiner Eltern aus den 1950-1960er Jahre abhören wollte. Das Philips-Röhren-Tonbandgerät war (natürlich) schon lange entsorgt worden. Inzwischen habe ich relevante Aufnahmen, Mikrofonaufnahmen von Geburtstagen, Weihnachten, etc., auf Audiokassetten archiviert, so dass ich das Uher nicht mehr benötige, zumal ich fast alle (gelöschten) Tonbänder schon über ebay verkauft habe. Ich habe das Gerät in den letzten Tagen nochmal ausgiebig getestet. Das Gerät ist noch voll funktionsfähig, auch wenn der Motor doch schon etwas „brummt“, aber das Tonband in allen 3 Geschwindigkeiten ohne „leiern“ oder so korrekt abspielt. Löschen und Aufnahme (Foto mit Pegelanzeige) funktioniert ebenfalls problemlos. Obwohl ein Mono-Gerät sind 2 Lautsprecher (links und rechts) eingebaut. An die Klangqualität der Lautsprecher bzw. des Gerätes selber sollte man aber keine allzu hohen Ansprüche stellen, das Gerät wurde (lt. Internet) von 1970-1972 hergestellt. Der Tonkopfträger (Z 342) lässt sich entfernen und dann kann man wohl einen Tonkopfträger mit 2-Spur Stereo (2 eingebaute Lautsprecher!) oder 4-Spur Tonköpfen verwenden? Wie auf den Fotos ersichtlich ist auf der Abdeckhaube und am Gerät selber „Eigentum Stadt Solingen“ eingebrannt. Spulendurchmesser maximal 18 cm, das Tonband und die beiden Spulen (15 cm) gehören NICHT zum Lieferumfang sondern sollen nur die „Funktionsfähigkeit“ darstellen (Zählwerk beachten).Das Netzkabel ist „fest“ mit dem Gerät verbunden.
