Ive been buying up super clean vintage tuners and tweaking. Step one is a COMPLETE cap job. Every single electrolytic capacitor is replaced. Then I clean anything that needs it. Finally I tweak it for as much performance as possible.I use a:HP 8903B Audio AnalyzerHP 8656 Sweep GeneratorSound Technology ST1000A Sweep GeneratorHP8594 Spectrum AnalyzerVarious DVM, Freq Counters, Oscopes, Etc as needed.This particular unit has adjustments for lowest THD, Maximum Sensitivity, Tracking, 19KHz pilot cancellation, minimum crosstalk.Meter Calibration. Im not up against a clock like most manufacturers are so I can let the tuner warm up for a full hour before alignment. After completion I run it for a few days and recheck. This tune is as good as it ever was, probably better. This one is in amazing condition considering its age. I love talking Hi-fi so please ask questions! I would class this woofer/tweeter assembly as being in a good, used condition but does have marks, scuffs and scratches from wear and use. Please check out all the pictures as these make up a large part of the description and show the condition well. Removed from a Tannoy DC2000 speaker and both the woofer and tweeter are full working order. Also fits the DC1000 and DC3000 speakers. It comes as pictured, nothing else is included. Will be expertly packaged for delivery and will be sent fully insured too.
