Rega RB300 tonearm, used but in excellent condition. Tungsten counterweight version. Reason for sale is recent upgrade. Was used on a Rega Planar 3 90’s version. The original rca connectors were changed, otherwise no other upgrades.

I have been lucky enough to purchase a s/hand Hadcock GH242 tonearm and so my lovely Rega RB300 arm is now up for sale here. It is in full working order and comes complete with the mounting nut and card Rega alignment guage. This is in superb cosmetic condition as I hope the pictures show, with hardly any visible sign of use. There is a very small scuff and a tiny amount of loss of paint around the edge of the 3rd cartridge bolt mounting hole which I think must have been there from new, as I have never had a cartridge fitted with the 3rd bolt hole used. I only noticed the slight paint loss when I was taking the photos for the listing so it isnt obvious, and it could easily be touched in with a black pen of some sort if you felt the need. The headshell slots themselves show vitually no signs of cartridge fitting which is rare for the Rega arms, this one has only had one cartridge body very carefully fitted and removed so you can see what superb condition it remains in. The only other point of note is a very, very slight shine mark where the armtube contacts the arm retaining clip although this really is very hard to see. I have included a number of close up photos taken in natural daylight so you can see how small any imperfections are. The arm functions exactly as it should with smooth bearings free from sticking or notching of any kind, and it has always been used and handled carefully. The armlift/lower device works smoothly and there is perfect continuity from headshell tags right through to the factory fitted RCA phono plugs. This RB300 benefits from having the tungsten counterweight, as well as the original Rega cartridge alignment guage. I do not have original Rega box/packaging but have a suitable alternative box and plenty of packaging in which to safely wrap it for UK postage. The postage price includes tracking and insurance as standard.
