EMT FRANZ TSD-15 MC Cartridge From Japan Description The reason I chose round stylus was because an analog audio enthusiast I know told me that they are easier to use and have a longer life than oval stylus. It has been confirmed to work, but as you can see in the photo, the cantilever is slightly tilted to the left. You may need to be careful about the level of the inside force canceller. I replaced the lead wires with Nordst ones. The original ones were thin and poor, so I was surprised at how well they started up and how clear they became after I replaced them. Here is a photo of the Nordost lead wire before replacement. I think both the stylus and the body are in relatively good condition, but the cover came off after being removed many times and was lost.
