AMPTASTIC Mini-T Tripath TA2020 HIFI Audiophile Integrated Amplifier Silver Made in UK. Amptastic is a UK amplifier manufacturer. They are famous for their micro-sized T amps, based on the TA 2020 Chipset, and their amps are designed and assembled at their UK factory. This amp is rated at 20 watts per channel, and thats plenty to go loud. It is specced for the UK. This is a high-quality audiophile-grade integrated amplifier. It has one set of line-level RCA inputs and good-quality binding posts for loudspeaker cable, which can be used with banana plugs, spades or bare cables. A separate switch-mode power supply is included- a new upgraded low-noise Philips PSU, which replaced the original unit supplied. It also has the advantage of a detachable mains cable, IEC to UK fused 3-pin plug. This is also supplied, but being detachable means you can use a different mains cable if you wish to.
