Since I listen to music 98% of the time with large McIntosh floor standing speakers, it was rarely ever used. I can not find any surface imperfections as it was kept in a enclosed audio cabinet. I used it to drive twin Triad Gold 12 subs. I just pulled it out of my system as I came across a pair of powered Mcintosh PS112 subs that match the rest of my home systems speakers. The build quality is second to none and this beast weights in at 24lb.

One of the best ever, made, this Rare one can control details for thundering sound! 4 Ohm Amp, & is rated at 250 watts , According to Triad this Amp I tested it on a 15 inch sub and its very powerful.
