A Tresham DR-302 power amplifier with its PS-302 external power supply.Both units are in good cosmetic condition for their age.The umbilical chord is present and in good condition.The amplifier is a very rare and lovely sounding amplifier with a huge amount of power.Class AB it puts out 300W into 8 ohms and sounds really sweet and musical and can handle any speaker.It has had a lot of work done to it but still has an intermittent fault with the left channel.All the work done is shown in the last two photos of the invoices, about £160 worth.The amp needed the main power caps done when I bought it and had grounding issues and a few other bits which have all been done. When I got it the amp made a horrible hum from the left channel which has also been fixed but now it randomly hums much more quietly from the same channel.It is sometimes fine and under soak test is fine but then plays up again.The theory is that the RS components power connectors and umbilical are very poor quality and the pins are corroded and don’t give a good connection causing the hum.My amp tech cleans them so the unit works fine under test but then they corrode again and cause problems when used later.I did not want to replace them as the amp would not then be stock.Due to the left channel issue the amp is sold as spares or repair.Local Collection Only.

Tresham SR202 power amplifier, .heavy and powerful amp, not been used for a long time, been sat on a shelf for ages, working fine though, collection or post £15i have the screws for the top, forgot to replace them !
