I bought these Totem Hawks from an authorized retailer in San Antonio, and Ive still got the original double boxes and all shipping materials, the manual, and Totems innovative floor stands. They retailed for near $2,350. The long-throw low frequency drivers are made by Dynaudio and are excellent and do a lot of work. At 6 ohms, theyre very efficient and easy to drive. These speakers are best placed somewhat close to a wall, but not entirely dependent on placement. I had them paired with a Musical Fidelity M6si, so they can handle a lot of power, more than 120 watts. The tweeter is excellent, with clear, unoffensive rendering and broad dispersion. The Hawk is most similar to the Bison, the current Totem model. These were made in Canada. The cabinets are beautiful and in great condition. Regarding shipping: there TWO boxes of 37 x 12 x 16, each weighing 29 pounds. To calculate shipping costs, be sure to enter two boxes of that size. They are easily shippable, not terribly heavy, and I am happy to do it -- but the buyer will pay the exact actual cost encountered at the FedEx or UPS counter. I bought these Totem Hawks from an authorized retailer in San Antonio, and Ive still got the original double boxes and all shipping materials, the manual, and Totems innovative floor stands. They retailed for near $2,350. The long-throw low frequency drivers are made by Dynaudio and are excellent and do a lot of work. At 6 ohms, theyre very efficient and easy to drive. These speakers are best placed somewhat close to a wall, but not entirely dependent on placement. I had them paired with a Musical Fidelity M6si, so they can handle a lot of power, more than 120 watts. The tweeter is excellent, with clear, unoffensive rendering and broad dispersion. The Hawk is most similar to the Bison, the current Totem model. These were made in Canada. The cabinets are beautiful and in great condition. Regarding shipping: there TWO boxes of 37 x 12 x 16, each weighing 29 pounds. To calculate shipping costs, be sure to enter two boxes of that size. They are easily shippable, not terribly heavy, and I am happy to do it -- but the buyer will pay the exact actual cost encountered at the FedEx or UPS counter. The only cross over needed was for the tweeter. So basically, your amplifier will connect directly to the woofer resulting in a cleaner and more dynamic sound.Omg, I couldn’t believe how intoxicated these speakers sound. They have wide sound stage, clean mid, and accurate bass. The louder you turn them up, the better they sound. They shine in any kind of music, jazz, rock, pop, classical etc….I am sold on this Torrent driver. These speakers are really under price for how awesome they sound and at my asking price, it is a no brainer. I used to own a pair of Marten Mingus priced at 55k there is no need to spend that much on a pair of speakers. These Metal are enough to satisfy my thirst and quest for a great sound without breaking my bank account.These speakers are working perfectly and sound beautiful. There is a few pinches on the dust cap of one driver. Not sure how it got there but it absolutely doesn’t effect the sound quality of the speaker. Other than that, the speakers are in perfect shape.I don’t have the box for these so local pickup is preferred but can be shipped at buyer expense.Payment via cash on pickup or Paypal FF.Thanks for looking!
