First of all: these were mounted horizontally underneath kitchen cabinets in a $10,000,000 massive estate home. The original installation company screwed down through the kitchen cabinets into the speakers. See photos. These screw holes have zero impact to the performance of these speakers as I thoroughly tested them via an Anthem Statement P5 with many genres and volume levels.
