This auction is for a used, Tivoli Audio Model 10 M10CAD Stereo AM/FM Clock Radio. There is no remote but it is rather simple to operate manually. I do not have the manual, but it is readily available on-line. It comes with the power cord and detachable antenna. I have had success with other Tivoli remotes (Tivoli Networks) for power and volume. The radio seems to be very rare in the US. It is difficult to find any available units on eBay in the US. The radio is a silver gray. The radio does not appear to be wooden (more of a vinyl covering) like a lot of Tivoli radios. It could be a laminate but it is definitely coasted to get this color. There are some small breaks on the corners of the radio. Pics show them. Otherwise, it is in good condition. There is something that rattles around inside though their are no missing pieces. The antenna is straight, with no bends - pic shows full length. The reception is very good. I am drawing a station right now from 100 miles away with very little interference. This is about the only radio that picks up the station in the house. The sound is surprisingly good with full range sound for such a small device. The display is small. The sound is very good with a station with a good signal - like local stations. The ported cabinets throw out some powerful bass, so its helpful to be able to dial back the low end when listening to NPR talk shows or baseball games. Likewise, you can pump up the bass for the King Biscuit Flour Hour, or when you plug in your iPod.It doesnt go very loud — its a clock radio, not a full home-entertainment system — but when I did crank it up, the sound remained sparklingly clear with no discernible distortion.But the sound remains spectacular. The Model 10 may prove a better companion in your office, kitchen or living room than in your bedroom.
