The printed wiring boards are the real deal, not rip-offs coming from ?? The boards were purchased through Old Colony Sound Labs, the official supplier for many TAA Publications components. For DIY audio enthusiasts, this collection of parts (AKA kit) has to be a very unique find. (Note: I had previously listed this item, but the buyer seems to have disappeared.) The builder will need to find a suitable power transformer or transformers (44 VCT at 6A minimum is needed for EACH channel). This kit includes all the semiconductors, to include the power transistors and high-current bridge rectifiers. Capacitors (easy to find) are NOT included. The 0.68 ohm 1W wirewound resistors are not included, but all of the 1/4W 1% film resistors are included (no idea if the film resistors are Vishay, Roederstein, or similar). Early Nelson Pass design. In great shape. LED’s work as they should. The amp was gone thru by a tech. A transistor was replaced. The caps were still in good shape but may need replaced eventually. The tech was very impressed by the output of the dual transformer amp, which claims a modest 125 watts. Great sounding amp, just have too many at this point.

The printed wiring boards are the real deal, not rip-offs coming from ?? The boards were purchased through Old Colony Sound Labs, the official supplier for many Audio Amateur Publications components. For DIY audio enthusiasts, this collection of parts (AKA kit) has to be a very unique find. The builder will need to find a suitable power transformer or transformers (44 VCT at 6A needed for EACH channel). This kit includes all the semiconductors, to include the power transistors and high-current bridge rectifiers. Capacitors (easy to find) are NOT included.
