Thorens TD160 Super 2-Speed Belt-Drive Turntable in Black. Rega R200 Tonearm The TD160 Super cabinet is larger and heavier than the average. Styling is plain, with a black exterior and matt silver motorboard. The plastic lid is unusually robust and hinged so that it will stay open at any desired angle above about 40°. The motorboard is uncluttered and therefore easy to keep clean, there being just one control knob marked 33, 45 and off. The platter is massive and dynamically balanced. It rests on an inner turntable of 160 mm diameter around which is wrapped the drive belt. In very good cosmetically condition - please review attached photos. Lid with age related scratches. Nothing major. It still look very presentable. Shure MM cartridge. Record stabiliser included. Fully functional. Please review all attached photos carefully to be sure of what you’re buying. Thorens TD160 Super Logic Datum 2 Goldring 1012gx. Lovely sounding deck/arm/cartridge combination Deck works perfectly. Has been varnished and has a couple of small blemishes. Arm is in perfect condition and owned from new......Recent excellent examples selling 200 plus. This one is pristine in every respect. Cartridge in great condition and owned from new... There is one stubborm bit of tape residue on the front left edge… which i am currently trying to get off.. Lid hinges are undamaged. The holes on the right hand side of the top plate are where the original thorens arm lifter used to be.
