Tutto Originale LApparecchio è tutto Funzionante e si sente anche molto bene ma vannoprecisate due sole cose:- La Cappa è assente, idem le cerniere- Quando si accende emette un piccolo BumpSi presume un qualcosa da rivedere nella sezione Negativo/Massa ma si potrebbeescludere il problema abbassando il volume allaccensione, nessun rumore o disturbodurante lascolto, ovviamente senza collegare il cavo di massa. The device is fully functional and also feels very good but they workJust specify two things:- The hood is missing, ditto the hinges- When it turns on it emits a small BumpIt is assumed that something needs to be reviewed in the Negative/Mass section but it could be doneexclude the problem by lowering the volume when turning it on, no noise or disturbancewhile listening, obviously without connecting the ground cable. Fitted with an SME 3009 s2 improved tonearm and Shure V15 type III cartridge. The stylus is running a little higher in the body and is quite close to the record, so we have added a modern repro stylus that works great and sits higher.. but the oringal still works and soiunds great. Practically unmarked I have never see a better example of this classic deck. Very little in the way of cosmetic imperfections.. probably the best example on the market. Please inspect the pictures (please also use the zoom function on the photos) and be sure of what you are buying, please don’t buy this if you are at all unsure, I will answer any questions you have, just email BEFORE PURCHASING. This is a used item and has been fairly described to the best of our ability, it has not been serviced by us, just described in it’s current operational and cosmetic order. DescriptionThe TD125 has taken a giant step in banishing rumble, with solid state circuitry replacing the conventional mechanical methods used for electronic speed control.This reduces the number of moving parts and total mass so frequently a rumble producing factor.Motor rotor velocity, another rumble originator, is precisely governed by a dependable Wein Bridge transistorized oscillator. Its frequency is varied exactly (by a gold plated switch) to change the speed of the motor and these adjustments may be viewed instantly on the built-in stroboscope.Motor rotor speed on the TD-125 has been reduced to an incomparable 250rpm at 33 1/3rpm turntable speed. By combining this factor with solid-state circuitry and the Wein Bridge oscillator, Thorens has reduced rumble to an infinitesimal and inaudible -48db (-68db weighted); less rumble than any other turntable on the market!The tonearm and turntable platter of the TD-125 are mounted on an independent chassis. This unit is then shock mounted to another chassis which houses the drive system and controls. As a consequence the tonearm is protected against shocks when the controls are operated and acoustic feedback is minimised because of the absence of vibrations.
