It employs Torrences unique suspended floating suspension system. This system has a structure in which the turntable, tone arm, motor, and control unit are independently supported, This system prevents vibrations from the motor from being transmitted to the playback mechanism. Furthermore, vibration is reduced by employing a combination of materials that are resistant to resonance. The dual turntable structure, also used in the Prestige, is employed. This system integrates the main turntable with a concentric drive sub-turntable, Compared to the conventional structure, this structure is more resistant to resonance and squeal, and the drive efficiency by the belt is higher. Furthermore, the flywheel effect is also enhanced due to the large inertial mass. The synchronous motor that drives the double turntable can control the motor speed itself by the oscillation frequency of the tachogenerator.
