Up for sale is a Genuine restored Thorens BTD 12S Tonearm from the 1960's.  This was the tonearm that came standard on a Thorens TD135 and as an option on the TD124. It comes with a tonearm  board for a TD124.   A great collector's item and vintage pairing for a TD124!I bought this tonearm from Schopper AG, the foremost supplier of vintage Thorens products in Switzerland.  I was going to use it as a tonearm option on my TD124 but when I got a TD135 on trade which already had it, this arm was really no longer needed. I am listing it at a nice price ready for sale.   Keep in mind the arm is vintage so it is not perfect but I can tell you that it does work as I had it on my TD124 for a short while and I was able to test it. It is in very nice condition and the chrome on the arm wand is shiny and not corroded. See the pictures. You will also want to make sure you have ample clearance in the tonearm section of your plinth as the tonearm has a fairly deep mechanism for its integrated tonearm lift. The picture will give you an idea. Included is the black proprietary headshell. It’s not the universal Ortofon/SME bayonet collar so I think it only works with this tonearm. No cartridge/stylus included. There is also an antiskating device in the red bag. I haven’t opened it . The tonearm has new wiring and a new modern RCA cable as shown in the picture.
