This is a preamplifier by GAS, an American high-end audio brand! This time, we are selling a masterpiece preamplifier released by this historic company. It is a scaled-down version of the first generation Tedra model, but the servo loop control, one of the companys specialties, is a major feature of this model. While the functions have been simplified, the internal C/R system is also top-notch, and the ease of operation and performance are second to none! The sound quality is breathtaking, not to mention the excellent S/N ratio, the precision and straightness of the sound, and the wide dynamic range, all of which are comparable to todays high-end models. The reproduction of music, from Jazz and Rock of the past to newer genres of todays music, is outstanding. In this sense, the product is 40 years too far ahead of its time, even when calculated from the time of its release. After all, Mr. Bongiorno was a great man, wasnt he? Awesome sounding 80wpc GAS combo. Works and sounds great. Includes original manual for the Son of Ampzilla. Thoebe works and is in decent original condition. Son of Ampzilla has a scratch on one of the meter glass and has a buzz on initial power up that goes away after a couple seconds. I listen to this setup daily and it sounds fantastic.
